Details:
This is one of our new models, the Jaket Recording "A".
This guitar was inspired by the Stathopulo era "Epiphone Recording"
guitars that were built from 1920 thru about 1931. This guitar is
an auditorium size with a 25.1 inch scale (based on the hand size
of the owner) with all 24 frets available. It is built with Indian
rosewood sides and back. Honduran mahogany carbon-fiber assisted
neck with a double-shaft adjustable truss rod. The top is AAA Sitka
spruce that is also carbon-fiber assisted. Fingerboard and bridge
are ebony.
This particular instrument is also equipped with a built-in custom
transducer that is installed in the top, not the bridge or under
the saddle during construction. The tuners are Grover 18 to 1 chrome
finished Rotomatics. This instrument has a beautifully balanced
rich voice. the bass, while not as over-powering as a "D",
is much better balanced with the mids and trebles and hence, the
model name of "Recording".
